Brane Audio knew that what they had was special. Speaker technology had been stagnant for a long time (we're talking 100+ years long) and they were ready to shake things up. With bass like this, they did just that. They knew they were entering a space where they needed to stand out and get... loud, but needed some help getting there.
To bring this new audio category to the masses, Pushstart worked to establish a form factor for the technology to take shape and built a full brand experience highlighting their unique position.

From the start, it was known that the initial product, Brane X, would be a part of a much larger family of speakers and electronics. The oval shape is employed as a core visual motif—a form that is ownable and memorable and can still blend in with any environment. Reproducing subwoofer notes in a smaller package meant adding a durable handle that encourages portability and allows music lovers (and makers) to share the experience.
From unboxing to onboarding to every day use, all interactions needed to be as smooth and intuitive as possible, with a focus on amplifying the listening experience. The goal was to create an app with everything you need and nothing you don't—with features like speaker grouping and the ability to fine-tune EQ settings—all housed in a sleek, simplistic user interface.
Every detail in the branding of Brane Audio needed to be meticulously curated. Each element needed to highlight the bold positioning of the product, set Brane apart from the crowd, and match its uniquely deep, earth-shaking sound capabilities.
The vibrant, highly-graphic brand language evokes palpable, dance-able energy of getting lost in the beat of the music. Repeated shapes and patterns allude to bold bass beats emanating into space, with motion graphics leading the charge to communicate an upbeat brand feel. Oval shapes are repeated as a core visual element—symbolizing the speaker as a conduit to an elevated sensory realm.
